Im cleaning out the attic and making some room
Im sweeping out the cob webs and removing the gloom
Im taking a little time to organize my stuff
Im putting into perspective that life's not that rough
Im happy and grateful, to be alive
Im working to be better and for that I strive
Im seeing where I fit in the grand scheme of things
Im making myself ready for when that phone rings

Sometimes I need a place to think out loud and it appears I've found that place. There's an excercise I once learned called morning papers and this is my loose attempt to resume that practice.
I've been frustrated and confused about what God wants for me, from me. I'm starting to wonder if thats how it should be. Perhaps, my thoughts should dwell on two things: grateful for now and hopeful for tomorrow.
Thinking about growing rich is a great start. Thinking about happy things is no walk in the park. Our world is full of negative messages. Its not easy to keep a positive perspective.
What I do know is each day, I'll get up and write. And perhaps with these words, God will shed some light. Cleaning out the clutter the doom and gloom will certainly give some peace if nothing more.
I'm confident that Im here for a reason and that if I sort my thoughts out I'll find some peace.
I'll set some new goals. I'll take them to task. I'll be brutally honest with myself.
We all deserve happiness. We all deserve success. The trick is to define our dreams and not wallow in the past.
